Soul Owned Strategy with Deborah Chin

You Didn't Lose Your Way
You Outgrew The Map
Something ended. Maybe it was a relationship, a career, a version of yourself you worked hard to build. Maybe it was a loss that changed the landscape of your whole life. And now you're standing in the middle of what's left, knowing you can't go back — and yet not sure how to move forward. That feeling isn't confusion. It's a call.I help women who are ready to answer that call build a life where what's true on the inside finally matches what they're doing on the outside. Soul Owned Strategy is for women who want to stop treating their spirituality like a Sunday morning practice and start using it as the foundation for what they build next. Not instead of the practical work. As the integrated strategy behind it.
IF THIS IS YOU
"I've done the inner work. I know who I am now. So why am I still confused about what to do next?"

You've journaled. You've probably meditated, done therapy, maybe had experiences that cracked you wide open. You know who you were before. You know who you are now. And you don’t know how to evolve your life to match this version of who you are. It’s not because something is wrong with you. It's because knowing who you are and knowing what to do next are two completely different things – and nobody taught you how to close that gap. You're holding two worlds at once. One says trust the process, surrender, let it unfold. The other says pay the rent, make a plan, be realistic. And somewhere between those two, you're exhausted and confused.I'm not going to tell you to choose one. I'm going to show you they were never supposed to be separate.
How We Work Together

I've spent over 20 years in social work and case management — case plans, resource navigation, and helping people problem-solve their way out of situations that felt impossible. That work taught me one thing above everything else: you cannot plan your way forward when you haven't owned the ground where you stand. Most women come to me doing one of two things. Either they're grinding through survival mode — keeping everything moving, doing what needs to be done — while their soul sits quietly starving. Or they're deep in spiritual seeking — journaling, meditating, doing the inner work — but nothing is actually moving in their real life. Both of those women are missing the same thing. Not more information. A way to align their inner life and outer life. That's what this work is.

This isn't a linear process. Most women move through it more like a spiral — you'll revisit what you named when you hear something new, and revise the plan when the ground shifts. That's not failure. That's how integration actually works.
ABOUT ME
I'm not coaching from a mountaintop.
I'm hiking the same trail, just further ahead.

I'm a mystic — someone whose spiritual life is built entirely on direct experience. No dogma, no institution, just what you know because you've lived it. That's the foundation this work is built on. And it's backed by over 20 years of professional experience helping people navigate real-life transitions, plus my International Coaching Federation (ICF) professional coaching certification. My dad was the pastor of an old-school Jamaican Pentecostal church — speaking in tongues, hands-on healing, people falling out from the energy of the Holy Ghost. I was in that building five days a week, and I still couldn't make myself buy in. I kept asking questions I wasn't supposed to ask. Eventually I stopped asking out loud and just kept asking inside. Those questions — is there something more, how do I actually find it, and how can it make life better — sent me looking everywhere. Buddhism. A pilgrimage to India. A 10-day silent Vipassana retreat. A psychology degree with a philosophy minor, because I needed logic to hold what I was experiencing. I learned something real on every path. None of them were the whole answer. Then I lost most of my immediate family in a short stretch of time. I sold my home, gave away what I owned, walked away from a 13-year career — and moved to Peru to study plant medicine and shamanism.I spent three and a half years there, working with Ayahuasca and Huachuma. I had spiritual experiences that moved the ground beneath me.I also spent years in a relationship that became increasingly abusive –emotionally, then physically. When I left for a domestic violence shelter I had just my car and the clothes on my back. I lost $300k, including my home, to that toxic relationship. I've rebuilt from there. It was the hardest and most clarifying work I've ever done. What I know now is that it's possible to be having the most profound spiritual experiences of your life and still not know how to build a better day-to-day. Life mastery, especially in midlife, is about integrating your soul's wisdom into the architecture of your life. To live a soul-owned life — one that is truly yours.I know what it is to survive. I prefer to help women thrive. Financially, emotionally, spiritually.I know how to hold space. I also know how to build a plan. You need both.
